What are you looking for?
About us
Lingu is an accredited language school with course centres across Norway, company courses nationwide and a growing online school. We build engaging products for our customers, and room to grow for the people we work with.
Life at work
At Lingu we hire captains. Being a captain means taking ownership, taking responsibility and finding solutions in all weathers. We value initiative and creativity, and we are proud of how much we share with each other.
We believe in people's potential. By connecting talent, technology and teaching, we build products that let people communicate across language barriers.
What we offer
Hybrid workplace
Work from home, from one of our centres, or the mix that suits your week.
Flexible hours and holiday
Plan your days around your teaching, not the other way around.
A Mac and the kit you need
Every new colleague gets a full equipment package on day one.
Room to grow
Courses, certifications and internal moves. We would rather promote than post.
Teaching at Lingu
Most of our roles are teaching roles. Here is what the job actually looks like.
Small live groups. Every learner gets room to speak, and you get to know them.
Courses that are already built. Lesson plans, slides and tasks come from our content team and stay maintained.
Paid preparation and a team behind you. You get time to prepare and teachers to ask when a class surprises you.

I love Lingu because…
“Through my job at Lingu I meet so many knowledgeable, wonderful people. It is a joy to help and motivate them to learn Norwegian so they can put their skills and experience to use in Norway.”
